Photoshop

I loved working in photoshop before I was told that I was not aloud to use my creativity. In one of my classes I have only been aloud to work in adobe elements where I was use to working in photoshop cs3 and cs4. I have also not been able to be creative in my editing, like adding text, changing the color to black and white or sepia. The only thing I have been able to do is to enhance my image by the levels, contrast, and brightness. I personally think that if you are trying to get people to explore a editing software you need to let them explore not tell them the specific tools they are aloud to use. But I have been able to be satisfied with certain images that I have taken but I think if I would have been able to add certain effects I would have been more satisfied.
